Faculty of Arts & Humanities is committed to provide quality education and training in the field of humanities & social sciences. It helps the students develop their comprehension of social sciences through their exposure to theoretical as well as empirical social constructs, field-based analysis and real life interaction.

The Faculty offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in History, Public Administration, English Literature and Economics. Faculty also offers Master of Arts in Education, Journalism & Mass Communication

HoD Message Faculty of Arts and Humanities

Welcome to the department of Arts & Humanities, it is an honor for me to welcome the keen learning generation of modern India to a prestigious dorm of knowledge. Here at ICFAI University I got an opportunity to invoke the insight edge of my experience & expertise to develop this department.
This department has very strong undergraduate program (BA & BA Honors). The department program is focused on providing not only the subjective knowledge but also to encourage the student to be more inclined towards their career and future growth.

The order of questions in the mind of students of this era has shifted. The first question in their mind is not ‘what’ anymore but its ‘why’. Why learning particular concept is important, what role this knowledge will play in their future. The department emphasizes the development of subjective and critical thinking. We in ICFAI aim to foster an interactive teaching environment. The teaching philosophy of the department is to ensure the environment where the learner grasps the knowledge. The feedback system in the interactive session helps in analysing each student adaption and gripping ability.
The department has been able to foster this approach with the help of the staff who has excellent credentials and a promising outlook. The faculty is well qualified with excellent research approach. It gives me immense pleasure to lead such a prestigious and complete department in every manner.
